Roles and Responsibilities
Faculty Advisor: The faculty advisor is a Butler University faculty member who oversees the organization by appointing the agency directors, leading interviews and giving advice and assistance to members. The faculty advisor has the right to have the final say on all decisions and to remove any member when necessary.
Agency Director: The agency director is appointed by the faculty advisor and oversees the workflow, documentation and client services for five fountains. Together, the agency director and the vice agency director are tasked with planning internal affairs including, but not limited to, recruiting new members, social media, etc.
Vice Agency Director: The vice agency director fulfills duties given to them by the faculty advisor or agency director. The vice agency director, with direction from the agency director, is tasked with handling the internal affairs of the agency.
Talent & Culture Director: The talent & culture director oversees the five fountains team. They provide input into agency onboarding and recruiting and help manage all agency-wide social and bonding events.
Creative Director: The creative director works with the account and communication directors to create a plan for their client. The creative director develops goals with their team and maintains a strong relationship with both the team and the client while working directly with communication managers to review the creative materials produced by each team.
Account Manager: The account manager oversees and guides their client team through the production schedule. They report to the leadership team every week and assist in the review process as well. Account managers are the liaison between the client and their client team. They are charged with the creation and delegation of public relations and other written material for clients. Materials may include, but are not limited to, press releases, newsletters, etc. The communications manager will lead the communications team and the communications specialists will assist in the creation of written material.
Creative Manager: The creative manager will be charged with the creation and delegation of advertising and other artistic material for clients. Materials may include but are not limited to, logos, social media posts, etc. The creative manager will lead the creative team and the creative specialists will assist in the creation of the artistic material.
